About me

Hi, my name is Steffen. I grew up in Hamburg and have been passionate about art, design, and craftsmanship since childhood.

In 2014, I bought my first airbrush gun for a school project. My first piece was a model race car in a black and orange design – and from that moment on, I knew that airbrushing would never let me go.

Over the following years, I experimented a lot, first on paper and later on a wide variety of surfaces. In 2019, I invested in my first professional Iwata airbrush and founded my own company, xX-Airbrush in Hamburg, during the COVID period. Since then, I have continuously developed my skills and completed numerous custom projects.

At the beginning, I mainly painted motorcycle helmets. Today, I customize almost anything – from tumblers and refrigerators to motorcycle tanks, cars, and even entire building facades. In the field of airbrush automotive painting, I work closely with Dokor Lack Hamburg to achieve high-quality results with a perfect finish. Staying true to my motto:
“Art doesn’t belong in a museum.”

I showcase my work not only online but also regularly at trade shows and scene events, such as the Hamburg Motorcycle Days (HMT) and the Rust ’n’ Dust Jalopy Festival. There, visitors can experience my airbrush artworks live and explore the versatility of the technique.

In 2024, I also discovered graffiti and spray paint. Since then, I have been integrating this new tool into my work whenever possible. Especially for large-scale wall projects, spray paint saves a significant amount of time compared to airbrush or spray guns. Since summer 2025, I have been regularly working with and on behalf of Wandkollegen from Stade, creating custom mural artworks using both spray paint and airbrush.
